I've had a mechanic adjust the trans and the reply was it's tired. no go now. my question is... from what other models can i select from to replace my 1975 280s tranny with. also my model was the federal/california version.

Most any car with an M110 motor should do. 280S, 280SE, 280E, 280.

thanks for the quick reply on model types that could be used for my tranny trist.a puzzle for me though cth350 would be do i need the same year of car to choose from? like the many people that have had troubles with their mb of which i am now becoming familer they sure look good on a sunny day, dont they? all that chrome and compfort eh?
