What brand brake pads?

Time for new brakes on my '88 300ce. This is the first time for me on this car. Are there better brake pads than OEM for this car. Low dust, no squeel, better braking, etc...
I appreciate any recommendations. Thanks.

I'll bet you will get the following responses:
1. Use " Search ".
2. Joe likes brand " A ".
3. Bob likes brand " B ".
4. George likes brand " C ".
5. Pete says " Stick with OEM ".
Let's see what happens.

Manny nailed it.

This discussion is like the one on oil.

Lots of choices. One guy will tell you that "a" squeals and "b" doesn't. The next guy will tell you the opposite.

Go to the parts site here -> Fastlane and look at the various brands. They're for the most part all considered OEM.

Buy OEM or dealer.

Do not buy from Auto Zone or the other mass marketers.

Yeah, I unfortunately did it backwards. I did the search after I posted the thread. I usally do the search first so I dont feel like a jackass. Oooops.
I will probably get the Textar and be done with it. Thanks for your responses.

I also go on to BMW tips quite frequently for my 528 info. I must say that this forum is much more friendly and helpful than that one. They are much more interested in making smart ass comments and one liners than helping people.
