Do a search on the subject. Right upper side corner on this page. I'd seen that topic before!

Guys,
Is that true, if you stand beside the wheel and tried to push the car body down, it should push back up without any vibrations, that means your shock absorbers are working?? If there is a vibration in going up and down after pushing down that means your shock absorbers need replacement!! Please Advise, |

If you push the cars' body down, the springs want to push it up again (and down/up/down) just like any (not car)spring would do.
The shocks should stop the up- & down-effect of the springs (= shock-absorber). A good shock will absorb the up/down movement of the springs that is caused by pushing the car down within one movement. If the car does move up and down several times before the vibration is totally absorbed, the shocks are not good any more... So the answer to: If there is a vibration in going up and down after pushing down that means your shock absorbers need replacement!! is YES. greetingz

I checked them with this test, but I felt some difficulty in pushing them down, as if there are so rigid!!
So is this a problem... |

Try your test again...
this time push down on the fender directly over the tire. Push whith all your weight a couple three times, then step back and watch. How many times does the fender rise and fall before stopping? If it continues moving up and down while you're watching you need shocks. If it stops almost as soon as you stop bouncing it, then they're OK.
