help with 86-190-2.3

My 1986 190 gas 2.3 shuts down when the car reaches operating temperture. I replaced the ignition moduel and the fuel filter but no help. I let it sit for a few minutes then I can restart it and drive untill it reaches about 80degs. If I leave the heater on with the blower I can go further before it turns off again. It feels like someone just turns off the key.
