transmission replacement on a 91 300e

I am currious to know if it is possible for me to swap a 88 300e transmission into my 91 300e?

Should be straightforward...esp. if you're doing an auto>auto swap. They should be the same transmissions.

Without breaking down the feature differences, mechanically it should work fine

the swap is hopefully temporary. i plan to get a 722.358 tranny back in sometime but this was the only one i could find in my price range
