CLK 230 - problem with Closing & Opening of Door Window

Dear All,

I have a CLK 230 Kompressor 1999 (UK SPec). I have just had the Driver's side door glass replaced.
I have been advised that the Window regulator should reset the closing level of the window within 12 hours of the glass being fitted, otherwise I have to take it to a Mercedes Dealer who will reset the closing level.

Is this correct or can I reset the closing level my self and if so how?

I would appreciate any help in with regard to this issue.

Thank You

Sanjiv

Exclamation

You should be able to re-sync the window to the door module at any time!
