What should I use to lube the power seat rails?
I'm going to try and clean & lube the rails for the driver's side power seat to try and alleviate the grinding noises & "wobbling" I get when going up/down. I'd be very grateful for advice re: technique & products to use -- WD40? Silicone? Teflon lube?
The last thing I want to do is to make it worse... Thanks in advance, --david |

I agree.Silicone spray should work great for lubing the tracks. But if there's enough wear that it still ends up making noise and grabbing. Then I would try a lithium grease type spray. It would provide some cushioning to help compensate for the wear.
