bose amp c280
I just purchased a c280 sport 2000. and the right front speaker is making noise. So I disconnected the tweeter, the noise is gone, except for very low whistle noise, but it doesn't go up and down with speed. so it probably isn't a ground. Do you think it is an amp problem? How can I fix it. where is the amp located? should I look for a new one? thanks

A similar thing happens when the CD changer connector is loose. You get a whine from one channel that sounds like alternator noise, rising and falling with engine RPM when playing a CD.
