I have a 1985 380SE with a fractured 'exhaust crossover pipe' leaking exhaust fumes into the passenger compartment. Does anyone know whether the pipe can be repaired, and how, as a new one is $1,250.

Hi Peter
Is the pipe physically broken or is it just leaking at the flange? If it is broken than I would think that someone has a decent used pipe at a good price. Try contacting one of the local recycling centers on this side of the hill, I am almost certain one of them can beat 1250.00. Try Pick and Pull, if you find one out there you'll get a great price. Good luck |
