How to enter VIN# in WIS?????
OK, my VIN # is WDBLJ65g0WF027402. In WIS, where you enter the VIN, there is a little drop down box where I select "WDB". Then there is another box next to it where I am to enter the rest of the VIN. Here's where the problem lies....if I enter "LJ65g0WF027402" it doesn't work. If I enter the entire VIN# it doesn't work. What the hell is going on here??????!!!

If your CLK is W208 class enter 208.

I got that far........
BUT, what I was looking to do is to enter my specific VIN# so I can look up information specifically for models made in 98. Is this possible? If so, how?

I can enter mine (W126) but I've not seen a VIN like yours.
I thought they usually started with series then model code then R or L drive code then trans code then production number. I've not seen one start with letters (other than WDB). Cheers

for some reason wis does not recognize some US vin numbers, and will even go so far as to call them unrecognized and european, instead of WDBLJ65G0WF027402 try WDB2083651F027402 that should work for you |
