'77 240D injector line leaking

Just got my 240d setup and running on wvo. Prior to flipping the pollack switch, I noticed injector hose seemed to be saturated with diesel fuel and a small amount of diesel fuel on the head where injector ties into engine. Went ahead and ran the wvo thru the lines and drove aroud for 30 or 45 minutes. Car seemed to run better faster pickup ect. Got back to the house and flipped back to diesel (purging wvo) left it running. Went and got wife to take me to bodyshop mans house, so he could start working on body in the am for me. On the way flipped back over to wvo. Had a tremendous loss of power. max speed of 45mph but it was off and on. 45 mph then 60 and visa versa. Dont see how. Seemed like I had air in the lines power then no power. Swithed back over to diesel same thing. Purged oil out of IP and lines and parked it at bodyshop. Could my injector line collapsed or been cracked and sucking air and by running the oil just finished it off. Or what? Any ideas, Need help. Thanks in advance, Treeman

are you talking

about one of your rigid metal lines or the flexible rubber/cloth lines?

those are

your return lines. they just get old and start leaking. best to replace with factory parts. you will need about 3' and you can get it for not much $ at any place selling mb parts.
