560SEL hydraulic leak a tank...
I was backing out of my driveway and saw a puddle of what looked to be oil. I stopped, checked it out and it was indeed hydraulic fluid since the leak was on the driver side and it spurted over part of my wheel well and engine comaprtment. What a PITA. The ride is still soft and normal. The back does seem a little bit lower than I use to see it but ride is still good and soft normal. My mech said that the resovoir tank is cracked on the bottom and when ever pressure from the fluid is present, then fluid will leak out. A yr ago, I had the same prob with fluid leaking but it was the hydraulic lines so i had those replaced and fluid replaced and the tank was fine. Now tank is leaking. Is there anything I should lookout for after this job?
