190E 2.3-16v issues
I had a thread a while back about where the O2 sensor wire is supposed to go and everyone said that because i have a gray market car no one knows. This time i just want to know where it plugs into. I imagine it plugs into the CIS-E control unit, but i have no idea where that is as all the manuals that I have don't give its location in the car. I decided i am just going to wire it myself from the CIS-E unit. If anyone has any recommendations for the path of this wire i am all ears.
Also i have, what looks like, a fuel vapor pressure release thing in the front of the car. There is this cylinder in the front of the car, and there are two tubes coming out of it, one goes to the gas tank and the other goes under the master cylinder and stops. After running the car for a few min the end of that hose smells like gas. Is this what i think it is and is that how it is supposed to work? I thought those things were only supposed to work on hot days or when the pressure built up to much, not just to let gas evaporate into the atmosphere at 3.55 a gallon.
Thanks,
Jim
