190E front hub bolt patterns: 190E 2.3 vs. 190E 16v

Does anyone know if the 190E front hub bolt patterns for an '87 190E 2.3 and an 190E 16v are the same.

I found some hardly used 16v front Bilsteins at a great price but unsure if they will bolt on to the 8v.

The 16V car uses hubs & bearings from the 300E, however the complete hubs w/bearings will interchange.

Just an addition, the fronts for the 2.3-16 are the same as the 2.3 8v, but not the rears. The 16V has the SLS bag in the rear, so while the shocks are the same, the springs aren't.

So you are saying I could bolt the front Bilsteins off of the 16v on to the 2.3? Or, would I also have to change the front hubs, and then calipers etc?

They bolt right on. But, if you want to get the 300E's ventilated front brakes . . . skip that and bolt on some 400E, 4 pot calipers!
