Slide/Tilt Roof Repair Secret Tip on 300CE!
After you do all the easy stuff....yeah...
You need to remove the sliders from each side; the CD shows the two special tools to use....I DON'T NEED NO STINKIN' SPECIAL TOOLS!"  This shows one of the sliders in question. Here it is unbolted from the bar that attaches to the cable mechanism.  I moved the slider all the way back to reveal the three screws one has to remove from the side slider guide. The guide then pops out and swivels to the side as shown. One can then easily remove the slider. REMEMBER TO SCHEDULE ROOF CLEANING AND REGREASING TO AVOID LOSS OF $$$ FROM YOUR WALLET!! Hope this helps somebody.
