b2 piston

i have a 1983 300sd and it does not want to go forward..
it slips and slips feels like the clutch is slipping could it be the
b2... and how do i replace it..

could be the b2. replace it carefully. if your not a good diy'er
then consider a shop. you can drop the pin or damage the seal putting
it in. if you like messing around then just go for it. take cover off
and then see if piston is broken. if it is then pull out and replace.
if not broken then you need to look elsewere. don't forget that the
band also breaks at times.
