a few lights on my 03 S430
Hi guys nice site here, im a young guy here looking for a little help.
1.any idea what the ohms should be across the pad sensor on my car, and do they need to be changed every brake job? 2.could air in the line cause the airmatic, esp, and bas indicator to come on at key on? 3.what is pressure bleeding? (for cars with traction control) Last edited by ONEBADAPPLE1; 10-24-2005 at 07:25 PM. Reason: after reading afew posts i would like to change my original post |

pad sensors on your car work opposite from the old one wire ones. when your warning light comes on, one or more of the sensors is toast. all should be replaced. The light gets turned on when the system sees a break in one of the pad wires.
Turn your steering wheel from lock to lock and see if that gets the esp and bas light to go out. if not then you have other problems. airmatic is a whole different problem. check to see if your front strut tops have been resealed yet, if not and theres a leak in the system, its possible thats the source.
