I've heard rumors of a MAF recall and wonder if it would apply to a 2000 E430 4-Matic. I recently had an o2 sensor replaced and am also wondering if it might have been the maf that was causing the fault, in which case, I could have had it done for free instead of $340. Thanks.

I'm not aware of any MAF recall at this time. Maybe if enough people complained to MBUSA they'll implement a voluntary recall as well as reimburse everyone who ever paid to have a defective MAF replaced.
