Another 2 pictures to identify for 560SEL 1989
On my 560SEL 1989 I need to know what are the purposes of them.
Picture 1 is located on the left side of engine near the battery. Picture 2 is located on the right side of engine near the fuse box. Thank you : ))..

The first picture is the diagnostic connector. OF course on that car only the SRS & A/C/C systems have diagnostic capabilities.
Second picture looks like the starter wiring connector.

M.B.DOC, can I use the diagnostic connector to reset the SRS?
About the starter wiring connector, do u mean to start the engine? Sorry for asking too many questions.

That system is analog! THAT is the only way to reset the SRS here in the USA!
