The instrument cluster and center console climate control lighting is out on my 95 E320 wagon. I checked all fuses (Is it fuse #5?) and all appears fine. Everything else including instruments etc. is operating fine. Diagnosis?

Dirty contacts on the instrument cluster rheostat dimmer - try moving the dimmer control around and see if the lights come back on.

Sheesh, it was just the dimmer turned down.
Not familiar with the dash controls of the 124 yet as I have been driving a 210 for the last 10 years. Duh
