tow hook cover
PN 129-880-02-05-9744 list at $ 130.00 at the dealer, pre-painted to vehicle original color. This is on a 99 SL500 I'm sure they are the same. Talk the dealer down to $ 92.00.

tow hook cover
If you are talking about the plastic piece that fits in the bumper cover and covers the tow hook, I recently bought one for my W140 from performance products for $20. I don't know if they carry it for your car, but it is worth a try. It was unpainted and I spent about another $10 matching the paint at the local auto store, It looks fine now. $130 is just way out of line.
