I replaced my rear pads (I did not have the rotors turned) using mercedes parts amd anti-squeel paste (the paste was not MB as well), and immediately the rear brakes began to squeel at very low speeds typicaly at stop lights. I removed the calipars and scuffed the rotors on both sides with an abrasive disk, but the squeel is still there. The rotors look fine, but it is hard to tell if they are the cause, and the car has 100K. What I have been trying to do is get on the brakes hard at higher speeds to may-be brake in the new pads, but the only results are hot brakes. Should I replace the rotors? Any suggestions?
