The check engine light came on in my 95 E420. Mercedes service shop hooked it up and found DTC 19 which calls for a new ME control module, which costs $2,200. I didn't want to spend that much for it so they reset the CE light but it came back on after one trip. Is there any way that I can manually reset the CE light off as it is kind of distracting?

Why bother resetting it?
If there is an ACTUAL problem, it can come back on every few minutes.

It's a computer software problem that sets emission parameters. So the light can stay off for sometime.

The dreaded DTC#19 code. . . Have a fix for you. I replied to your PM. It's almost history!
