I'm carrying out a little investigation into MB diagnostics (Custom diagnostic software for our R129s) and am a little stuck, so wonder if there's any help available over here?

I need to find out what protocol is used for the engine management data that appears on pin 4 of the 38pin diag connector. My car is both pulse code (for the majority of modules) and some type of streaming data for the LH management.

Any clues would be appreciated.
