300td no vacuum sounds like

no vacuum, sounds like the vacuum line came off the transmission,makes a gurgle sound the faster you go, should I quit driving the car I drove it a couple miles today, did order a repair kit, kind of loud,not a grinding sound
it still shifts would this happen if it has no vacuum?????
