Got a 2005 c230k sport about 4 months old. 2 days ago the remote was taking its time to lock and unlock the doors, almost like it had a 30 second delay from when you hit the button. Then yesterday it did it again but this time when the key is inserted in the key switch, the key is not recognized so basically I was stuck. I called the help line they told me I needed to try the second key, otherwise all they could do is jump start it. I got my father to get the second key and same thing, then we hooked up a battery pack and the key came alive. The thing is, is that the battery in the car is not run down, it did the same thing again today and I checked the voltage on the battery and it was 12.85 volts and the car starts right up without any assistance once the key actually unlocks. I'm taking it to the dealer as soon as they give me an appointment. I want this thing fixed the first time around and this is fairly intermittent. Does anyone know if this is a fairly seen problem, a possible ground problem or anything thats fairly common. Thanks.
