REbuilding Calipers - What is Brake Paste?

Is that the same stuff that you apply to new pads to reduce squeeling? (The stuff that comes in a salad dressing type bag?)

I reverse-engineered some in my lab. It's virtually identical to copper-based never-sieze compound.

I also like to use brake pad paste on the guide pins, slides. anything that moves on the caliper.

chk out AGS sil-glyde, but I always use the MB oem in the back of pads.
