How to install spark plug connectors?

I just picked up a spark plug connector (000 156 57 10) and ignition wire connector (000 159 14 38) and having a bit of a problem trying to figure out how to attach the wire to the spark plug connector. There doesn't seem to be a screw type of connector in the connector like with my Bremi wires. Instead, there is what appears to be a circular connector in the rubber boot. Does the ignition wire connector screw into the spark plug connector, and if so, how do you attach the ignition wire connector to the wire?

After doing some more searching, it appears that the ignition wire connector needs to be crimped via some tool made by Baum, after which the connector can be screwed into the spark plug connector. Is the Baum crimper a special tool, or can I use "any" crimper? I would appreciate it if someone could post a picture of a crimped wire end so I can figure out if the local electronics shop has something that would get the job done. Thanks.

Thanks for the link, I couldn't find any clear pictures of the tool, even on Baum's own website! It looks like it might be a hex style crimper similar to those used on coax cables. I assume that there's no soldering needed, as solder that would melt with a 25watt iron would easily melt when used in this application

Ok Alieanman .WHat you do is ,on the spark plug wire remove about 2-3 mm of the insulation without damaging the interior core.Than turn the adaptor or connector as you called it ontu the spark plug wire so that the core of the spark plug wire is inserted into the small part of the Connector....Than crimp the conector where the core in in,but dont cut it.You may use a dull side cutter to do it.And also crimp the outter part(the thicker part, insulation) with a pliers.BUT NOT A SIDE CUTTER....it needs to be even...the connector needs to be even and straight on the spark plug wire. Now use some silicone spray on the wire and on the new spark plug conector ant screwit on..that is it
Hoe it worked harald

Thanks Harald, I just found a page describing how to install them here. I'm going to check with my local independent MB mechanic to see if they have the special pliers tomorrow. If not, I will try to McGuyver it
