Clk430
I see a little too many CLK430s driving around with AMG bades on the back.... (2000-2002)... Back then was the AMG Sport package badged? What was a true AMG labeled (CLK55, for example are the new ones, I think)?
After being around the Mercedes store for a while, I have seen how rare a real AMG really is, and can't imainge "soo many" AMG's driving around? LOL... What's the hp/torque on the 2000-2002 CLK430?

The W208 CLK 55 just says CLK55 on the left side of the trunk lid and AMG in the same size lettering on the right side of the trunk lid. That is the only place on the outside of the car that it specifically says AMG.
The AMG has 342 hp and 376 ft/lbs of torque. Main easily visible differences are the brakes, aerodynamics, and exhaust. Otherwise, it was a very modestly designed car.

I am aware of the CLK55, ....so basically CLKs labeled CLK430 with AMG on the other side of the deck, 2000-2002, are loosers with AMG badges? Did MB actually label 00-02 CLK55?
