Broken Caliper Bolt W124
Hello,
Today I replaced my front brake pads (Single Piston, floating ) and I broke the new caliper bolt on my 1986 300E W124. (Yes, I over torqued it and I am a total spaz and loser for doing that.) I had to reuse the old one. I used new blue locktite on it. I know you are not supposed to reuse these but I was in a jam. How bad is this?

It's fine.
If it really bothers you, you can always get a new bolt. Oh,..... and get a torque wrench too. ![]()

Thank you Manny. I have a torque wrench, unfortunately the brain retained the wrong torque spec, very very wrong.
