MB 123 Brake pads...

Hello everybody - have any of you people had any experience with replacing brake pads? My question is this - can you get burned (or squeeked) by using cheap brake pads? what brake pads are best, and which ones, if any, are to be avoided? Where is the best place to get new brake pads? I have seen nice and cheap brake pads on Ebay, are they o.k.? ~Levon~
