trans. leak
My 87 sdl has a leak in the trans.It was at the dealer for two days they cleaned it drove it ,and found no leak.So they change the pan gasket.About 200 miles later I find about 3 oz. of fluid under the car.The trans looks wet on the left side looking down at it.Dip stick shows full.Anyone have any idea what may be happing. thanks joes87sdl

Many times a trans WON'T leak just sitting still. Seals can leak only when being used.. Both of the Bands "reaction valve" seals (o-rings) seal themselves to the LEFT side of the trans case.
The pistons for thos bands are on the right (passenger) side.
