Engine misses: 92 300TE 4-Matic
The engine on my 92 300TE 4-Matic starts missing at low rpm after it warms up. It doesn't seem to miss at higher rpm. I have replaced the plugs. The distributor cap, rotor and wires have less than 5000 miles on them. Anybody with any ideas or had this problem?

Did you use the proper Bosch or Beru copper core non-resistor plugs?
Did you replace the spark plug wire resistor boots?

erratic low RPM's
Had a similar problem with my car however, change your OVP relay to start, if the condition doesnt improve, then change your ignition coil. If its not a fuel delivery issue, you might have a weak CPS sensor. If your spark isnt white blue, and seems orangy red, its the coil.

The OVP (over voltage protection relay) is a good part to change anyway if you have the original part.
The original part is known bad part, and the new ones have a different part number. If you try a search, it has been discussed ad infinitum in the archives.

Thanks. I will try the OVP relay and the coil (I have good spares from my 300CE from chasing a problem with it).
