Hello all I am a 1st time owner of a MB. I am having a few issues. Please help. I own a '02 CLK 320. My drivers seat was automatically sliding forward by pulling the lever on the seat. Now it won't do it. What happened? Also I noticed in my dash where my clock and my temp gauge is supposed to be is scrambled and missing dots. What is up with that?

Help!!! I am starting to get nervous

I've had the same problem on my 99 clk430. The dealer told me that there is a motor on the back of the seat that runs that particular seat function. It is a $200+ part so I'm waiting to replace it. You could take the motor off the working side seat and put it on the nonworking one to be sure that it is the problem. Let me know if that ends up being the fix...

ok. did yours give any warning or did it just stop working one day? I'm not mechanically inclined so I will probably have to let the dealer handle it. Oh one more question, is there a button or something that turns that function on an off?
