Mercedes Car Alarm Problem

..ok..help ..someone...please.......any easy way to disable the factory car alarm on 1989 300se....mine is going off for no reason and its making life nutty......any way to disable it without affecting car's performance..?....thanks

The control unit is under the false floor on the passenger side. It will say Becker on it. Just unplug it.

i did it myself...which is unbelievable ..for my mechanicALLY CHALLENGED SELF..

what a great website...

the only trouble i had was finding a nut driver that would open the nut at the bottom of that big black
panel ..the nut is hard to get to....and no known size of a nut driver that i had.,.
