Thumbs up W126 keys at dealer, less than $17/ea!

I just ordered three keys for an '86 420SEL I just picked up, for just over $54 with tax here at Park Place in Dallas. These are the ones that are VIN matched too. I was going in under the impression of them being $50-70/ea but heck, at less than $17/ea this is better than the local locksmiths at around $30/key.

Just FYI for everyone out there

Six others from BMW, GM, and Ford.

I have been paying about $20 each for W126 keys. Some dealers don't rape you I guess.

Just came back from dealer in Thousand Oaks , California.
1 key for 1983 300SD (the security kind) $18.25
1 key for 1980 300D (regular sides cut) $25.00

Okay price I guess. I could have had the 300D cut for $4
at the locksmith but it would have been brass and I wanted
OEM steel key. At least I think that is what I am getting.
