Question Source of A/C leak?

Vehicle is a 92 300 TE with 133K miles converted to R 134a some time ago by dealer, unkown whether evaporator is orginal or not.

1-I partially charged sytem and it worked for about two weeks.
2-Today I added 1 capsule, .06 oz. of dye and 1.5 oz. of PAG 46 oil, this is an R134a system
3-I charged system with a little less than 1 lb of gas.
4-Used sniffer with engine running and the only place I got any hits was evaporator drains under car. More so on the driver's side than the passenger. Not 100% sure that the air passing over the tip was not the cause of the hits, i.e., false positives. To get any hits I had to turn sensitivity to the max setting. y tester is not the world best, it's a Mastercool 55100

Questions
Will the oil with the dye leak out of the evaporator drains under the car so I can confirm evaporator leak?

What else can I do to confirm evaporator leak?
