Angry Warped Head.......what next.

About a month ago, while driving down the expressway, I hit a large dog. Much damage was done to the front of a 2004 Jeep . The engine ended up running hot. The vehicle was taken to a Jeep dealership for repairs. Two weeks ago I picked it up and the engine started running hot. I was told to bring it back to the shop and it would be checked out. I was later told it had engine issues. (I did drive the Jeep a short distance while running hot but the dealership admitted that the engine had idle at the shop and had been driven back and forth to the parking lot. They did not test drive before I picked it up due to snow that day. My insurance and the dealership have been hashing out who should pay for repairs to the engine. One or the other will pay for repairs. Parts were ordered and the vehicle was to be picked up today. Now I find out that the other head is warped and more parts need to be ordered. I have been without my vehicle for over a month. I am going to the shop tomorrow and find out what is going on. What questions can you sugguest to ask? Can something else be wrong that I will discover a month later? Thanks for your imput.
