I have a 2000 S500 and when I pushed down both rear lighters they did not pop back up with the engine on. I then pryed them out took a multimeter and found good ground but no 12v on either. THe strange thing is the fuses one for each lighter are good and hte other things on the same circuit work. Any suggestions as to why the lighters are inop. They are on totally seperate fuses.

The rear window lock-out switch is on. Not only will it prevent rear seat passengers from opening the windows, it'll also shut off the power to the cigarette lighters.
