Xenon Upgrade??210 e300td

I just bought a 99 e300td and both lenses are yellowed and need to be replaced. Can I plug in a HID that was previously halogen?? I do not want to start a fire and some say it just plugs in. I am not sure so could someone please give me some insight?? Thanks

Last couple years 210s came with projector lights.

Best to install them in OE configuration.

What exactly do you mena by plug in an HID?

Yes, if you want to do a proper conversion it can be done. No, you cannot just plug in a Xenon bulb to the fixture without other work.

I was told that if I bought factory xenons orignial mb that I take my old lights out (halogens) case in all. And intall the the new xenons case in all and it should plug in and work with no problems.
