Hey all,

Just wondering how things were going with everyone who went in on the $125 deal. I still haven't found out if they'll fit on my 400E. Been a little busy. If anyone has installed them, what do you think? Keep me posted. I'm actually glad I don't have them on with all this snow!!

Wow, I'm glad to hear that. Sounds like you are really enjoying them. I was going to wait to do the shocks at the same time, but i'm not sure now. I'm gonna think about it.

Dave Which spring pads did you use?

I have bought the following to be able to be sure I have the right ones on hand when I have them installed.

1 bump for the front
2 bump for the front
and the car currently has 3 bump on the front.

For the Rear I have 2 bump and 3 bump pads.

Which ones did you use?

And how was the wheel well gap in the front after ith the pads?

I want to make sure I don't go too low.

Alon

Ashman, I left the stock pads in both but I'm goin to put the #1 pads (8mm) because I want to be a little lower. I'd put the springs in first with the stock pads because from what I here every 124 is different. I have about 1 1/2 inch wheel gap right now and I'm looking for about 1 inch.

What were your factory pads?

Mine currently are 3 bump front 2 bump rear, and the rear appears lower than the front.

I plan on doing the 1 bump front and 2 bump rear I think, and see how that comes out.

I just wanted to get an idea of the wheel gap with the newuspeed springs and the thickness of the pad.

I'm sure it would give me the general idea of what to expect.

Alon
