				Technician advise, broken diff. mounts?

I took my 1995 Mercedes E320 to a German Motors Repair facility for an oil change and on the recommendations, they advised that I have broken differential mounts. The quote for said job was 600.00, something like 60.00 of it was parts. I am wondering if this is the same as the motor mounts? Whether it is or not, I am wondering if it is something I should tackle myself. I asked the guy at the counter to show me the broken mounts, but said the car would have to be up on the rack to show me. I have good mechanical skills as long as I know what I am working on. Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks.

Check out this thread: W124 Rear control arms, and diff mounts: Does job need MB specialist? The job doesn't sound super challenging, but without the right tools it can be difficult and require many 4 letter words Good luck!
