Rough idle on 95 E320

Hello All!
I just purchased a 95 E320 w/ 91k miles. When the engine is warm - and when at a stop light or idling - the idle is very, very rough - and it seems to be using more fuel then normal. Any suggestions please? Also does this particular model require the wiring harness to be replaced? Any good advice is helpful and appreciated.

Sooner or later...

I just replaced mine a couple of weeks ago @ 135K - (95 E320). Here's a good link to bookmark if you want to DIY. I was quoted up to $1900 for a local wrench to do the job, $1600 minimum by another. The harness was $870 from Rusty at ***************.

Note that on mine (and I'm sure this is a very rare problem) the part number in the Mercedes book that matched my VIN didn't match my car - so you may want to pull your battery, disconnect the harness and find the part number tag before you order the new part, just to be sure they match. It's about 18" down the harness from the main connector.

I'm still trying to figure out the rough idle, not sure if it's the throttle actuator, or what, but at least the harness is good...
