1995 C280 Need Help! Upper Head Noise.

I NEED THE FOURMS HELP!
I have a 1995 c280 just replaced the oil pump. The c280 starts and runs grate till the rpm retches 2,000 rpm. Then a weird sound comes from the rear of the head. It sounds like a bearing that is spinning and grinding. But when the engine rpm go below 2,000 the engine runs fine.
I have tried this also in drive. The engine looses power after 2,000 rpms . I thought it was the oil pump so I replaced it. And it still doing the same thing.. If any one can help me with some kind of solution on how to fix it … thanks.
I have also ran an obt II tester on the c280 and it has no fault codes..
