Leaking metal break line
The metal break line, the one between the master cylinder and the ABS unit, is leaking where it connects to the master cylinder. I have not tried tightening it yet. I am waiting for a response from this forum.
Basically I would like to know if there is a washer (metal, rubber, or otherwise) in the joint of the line where it connects to the master cylinder. Should I just try tightening it first, or if there is a washer, should I first change it? Thanks Phil

sure
try tightening it.
if that doesnt work you may be able to buy a generic line from the auto parts place to replace it. if the new line is too long you can make a small coil to take up the extra. take your time bending the line, a little at a time and you will be fine. the benders are useless in my experience. tom w
