My wifes 99 C280 has run flawlessly until yesterday. When the car gets to about 100 degrees C the motor justs turns off. It will turn over but not restart until the engine temp is near 80. I've tryed jumping the fuel pump relay, thinking the relay was the problem. The pump runs but the motor just turns over. This car is an ASR equiped unit and before I try anything else I thought I should ask for guidance.

Replace the crank angle sensor, common issue with the m112 eng. Do a search on "crank sensor", tons of info.
