How much can I adjust the VCV for trans..?

I seached the archives and would like to adjust my vacuum control valve on my 91 722.358 trans on a 300e.

At this point, I am just trying to improve a delayed reverse engage (only when trans is hot) until I determine if I need to pull the tranny for a believe the B3 reverse clutch.

My question is since I just want to increase pressure somewhat - I will not be using a gauge - just a change to improve performace, even if out of spec .... what is the range that others have used during adjustment?

If you can give me a "1/2" turn is too much ..... that will be helpful as a frame of refernece...

Thanks a buch!

The transmission B3 frictions are worn that’s the cause for the delay into reverse.
Adjust the vacuum modulator by feel, turn the “T” handle CW one turn, then drive the car and adjust as necessary.
