After searching for topics for sunroof, I read that the sunroof motor is in the trunk. Over the weekend I removed the trunk liner in my 1998 E320 attempting to find the sunroof motor. The drivers side containted the Bose amplifier, the rear of the trunk contained the gas tank, and the passenger side didn't have anything resembling a sunroof motor. I suspect that the sunroof motor is located above the headliner.
Can anyone confirm the location of the sunroof motor?

The motor of a W210 (and W202) sunroof is located above the front courtesy light.
If you remove the left cap of the courtesy light, you will see an imbus bolt that will allow you to manual operate your sunroof. The drivers manual will show a drawing of it, and the imbus wrench has to be tucked in your vehicle papers/bag. greetingz,

MBenz,
Thanks for the info. I will take a look at it this weekend if I get a chance.
