Anyway to gauge health of timing chain?
Just so happen to have the valve cover off. How much slack should the chain have? Is there a way to measure this? I can move it a bit with my finger (see pics). Unfortunately, I know nothing about the history of this car so I don't know if it was ever changed! Is there anyway to gauge the health of my timing chain? I've got about 225kmi on this beast.

CHAIN stretch is the best guage of timing chain wear..ON that engine you align the CAMSHAFT marks & then look at the crankshaft marks..MORE than 3 deg off signals time for a new t/chain.
