Red face 1986, 420sel fuse location advise help !!!

My horn and windsheild wipers are not working, also the telescope steering button does nothing either , I found a fuse box under the hood they all seem to be ok, what fuse am i looking for ? is it one of the cubilar ones or the small thin ones? is there another location inside the car that has fuses also >> Help love the car just bought it and new at this thanks !!

Mercedes cars with cartridge fuses (tubular with contact at each end) all suffer with bad connections because of corrosion;take all the fuses out one by one and clean the contacts on the fuse and holder , also pull the relays in the engine compartment ,clean the pins and refit . In many cases this is all that is required to solve electrical problems on these cars.

Clean the ground points behind the instrument cluster first.
Look in the following thread for direction of how to remove the instrument cluster.
